Jade Goody has confirmed that her cervical cancer has spread to her bowel, liver and groin. The former Big Brother star and mother-of-two has been receiving chemotherapy treatment since being diagnosed in August 2008, she received the news she had the illness while in the diary room for Big Boss, India’s version of the reality show. “I am devastated, frightened and angry. I don't want to die, I have so much to live for," Jade told The Sun. “The reality is I have gone from a 40% chance of a cure to seeing how long I can stay alive. The whole thing is absolutely terrifying, I am hoping a new type of treatment will suppress and control the cancer, which is very aggressive. I am in a nightmare." Her spokesman Max Clifford said doctors at the Royal Marsden hospital were now looking at ways to prolong her life so she can spend as much time as possible with her sons. "Obviously it’s a nightmare and it's terrible news for her," said Mr Clifford. "She's gone through a hard time in recent times with the treatment."
