Former Big Brother star Jade Goody’s funeral will take place on 4 April at an Essex church, it has been confirmed to the BBC. “A funeral procession will leave her house in Upshire, Essex at 1200 BST, ahead of the service at St John's Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill,” the channel revealed. “Jade will then be buried at Epping Forest Burial Park in North Weald.” Jade died at home at the age of 27 on Sunday after a high-profile battle with cervical cancer. Meanwhile, former rival Katie Price has become the latest celebrity to pay tribute to Jade. "I think she has been really great. I just hope that her family stay strong and stay together," Katie explained before praising Jade for raising awareness to cervical cancer saying she "opened a lot of eyes”. The pair famously fell out last year when in September Katie criticised Jade for using cancer to get publicity. “I can't believe she is paid for interviews on subjects that people are really traumatised by,” the model said at the time. “I hope she gets through it all though. There has to be an awareness that that sort of cancer can happen to anyone but I saw her on Celebrity Big Brother and thought she was a racist. She didn't give people sympathy when she was on the show."
