Michael Jackson fans who had tickets to see the star's planned O2 dates have been offered the choice of a full refund or a souvenir ticket in light of the concerts cancellation, the BBC report. An estimated 800,000 have paid £50-£75 to watch Jackson perform. "The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known," concert promoter AEG Live's Randy Phillips explained. "Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death." AEG say the souvenir tickets, featuring 3D graphics "inspired and designed" by Jackson, will become collectors' items. Ticket holders can get information about refunds or keeping the tickets at www.michaeljacksonlive.com from today. The promoter has also released pictures Jackson rehearsing in Los Angeles for the concerts just days before he died (though some gossip sites are already questioning their authenticity). "When he hit the stage at rehearsal, I was thrilled that the magical Michael Jackson was back," veteran photographer Kenny Mazur explained. "I felt the same adrenaline rush as when I photographed him the first time moonwalking."
