Jacko bids to end Macca feud

Troubled Michael Jackson is hoping to end his 24-year feud with Sir Paul McCartney.

Michael Jackson is making plans to end his long-running feud with Sir Paul McCartney. The musical pair fell out in 1985 when Jacko, whose sister LaToya is currently appearing in Celebrity Big Brother, outbid the former Beatle to win the ownership of the whole Lennon-McCartney songbook and have not spoken since. "The annoying thing is I have to pay to play some of my own songs. Each time I want to sing Hey Jude I have to pay," Paul recently told press. However, sources say Jacko is planning to make things right by leaving the rights to Macca in his will. "Michael is worried about his health so decided it was time to look at his finances," an insider told the Mirror. "He is suffering serious back and leg pain and has for a few years. He gets spasms in his back which means he spends a lot of time in bed and a wheelchair. He weighs just over seven stone and is very frail. He’s also had a nasty bout of emphysema and there have been reports he has another lung disease. Most of his estate has been divided up between his three children. But Michael told his lawyers he was sad he no longer talks to Sir Paul and said he wanted to make things right." Michael Jackson’s spokesman recently officially denied the star believes he is dying.
