Making sure Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears keep looking over their shoulders, Heather Mills today put forward rat’s milk as an alternative to cow’s during a vegan campaign. Appearing at Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park to launch an eco drive for vegan charity Viva, Heather was speaking about how the meat and dairy trade are harming the planet. “The startling truth is that animals farmed for meat and dairy are now one of the greatest threats to the planet,” Heather said, before suggesting some less harmful alternatives to cow’s milk. "Why don't we drink rat's milk or cat's milk or dog's milk?" Er, Heather, why don’t you try just not talking for a while, and see how your press is then.
