The Drug Enforcement Administration in the US have told press they are to close their case into how Heath Ledger obtained the two Oxycontin painkillers that contributed to his death. Officials explained to the press that there was not a “viable target” to prosecute for the offence. Earlier this week Mary-Kate Olsen, Heath Ledger’s friend and the first person the masseuse who found the actor’s body contacted, denied she refused to be questioned by investigators unless she was granted immunity from prosecution.
