Mischa Barton’s recent hospitalisation caused no problems for the filming of her new show The Beautiful Life, TV bosses have said. Last month Mischa was placed under psychiatric hold and admitted to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical but the actress began production on her new show last week, just days after being released from a hospital. “We were just concerned that Mischa wouldn't be able to be ready for production, but she was,” Dawn Ostroff, studio head of US channel The CW told Television Critics Association. “It wasn't even an issue. She started work, so we're happy." The beautiful Life’s co-executive producer Jason Goldberg added: "Like any production, you have to prepare for the possibility of a replacement. But in this show, we really never had to think about her not coming back. It never became an issue for us. Ever."
We interviewed Mischa Barton a few weeks before she was sectioned. Let us know if you think that she's acting normally?
