Madonna is being “supported” through her divorce from Guy Ritchie by her friend Gwyneth Paltrow the actress has revealed. Speaking at the premiere of her new film Two Lovers in London, Gwyneth said, “She's a very good friend. I'm supporting her in all the ways that I can,” adding, “I'm just there.” Meanwhile there are conflicting reports on either side of the Atlantic as to where Madonna plans to make her home following the split. US press insist she’s heading back to New York. “Madonna is a New Yorker. She will probably want to raise the kids in New York," a source tells People magazine adding, “In a marriage there are compromises. Living in London was one of them." However the UK redtops are sure she’s staying put. “Despite some of the unhappy memories that London holds, she still feels that it's the best base for the kids,” an insider has told the Mirror. “They are very happy at their school and she doesn't want anything to interfere with that. Madonna was planning to leave and make a fresh start abroad. But London still has a massive hold on her and it's hard to just shake off.”
