Former England captain David Beckham has been described as a “good chef” by Michelin star-winning superchef Gordon Ramsay. The pair became friends after the LA Galaxy star asked Gordon to cater his 2006 pre-World Cup party. “David’s quite a good chef. I’m not sure what his signature dish is.” Gordon explained to Heat, explaining the duo share cooking duties when they meet for food: “When we have lunch we quickly knock off something simple like salad and I’ll do it.” In March Gordon told the News Of The World the pair were looking into opening a restaurant together in LA. “We've been friends for a while and have spoken about it,” He explained. “There's always been something in the pipeline.”
