Glee and Mad Men dominate Emmy nominations

TV musical comedy Glee and drama Mad Men are both in line to dominate the main categories for the 2010 Emmy Awards after each received six nominations.

Glee and Mad Men look set to be the big winners at the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards after receiving six nominations. Glee's lead actors Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison are both in the running for the lead actress and actor in a comedy categories, while Jane Lynch is nominated for the best supporting actress in comedy Emmy for her portrayal of cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester. Meanwhile, Mad Men is nominated for the outstanding drama, while leads John Hamm and January Jones head the outstanding actor and actress in a drama field.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards take place in Los Angeles on the 29 August.
