Gisele Bündchen has claimed she felt no pain while giving birth to her first child. The supermodel and her husband, American footballer Tom Brady, welcomed son Benjamin in December last year and, during an interview with Brazilian TV station Fantástico, Gisele claimed labour was a breeze. It didnt hurt in the slightest, she explained. The whole time my mind was focused in each contraction on the thought, My baby is closer to coming out. It wasnt like, This is so painful. So I transformed that intense feeling into a hope of seeing him.
Its wonderful, she said. Never in my life I thought I could love like this. You hear people talking about it, but you dont know until it happens to you. I couldnt be happier.
As well as pain-free childbirth, the supermodel went on to reveal she had no need to wear maternity clothes while pregnant. "I kept myself in good shape during the whole pregnancy, eating healthily, meditating and doing exercises, Gisele said. "I put on a little weight, but kept using almost the same clothes, with small adjustments on the stomach. I still haven't had time to go back to doing exercise. In the first few months, everything turns around the baby. But little by little you recover your form. What helps me is the fact that I didn't put much weight on and that I had a natural birth and am breast feeding."
