Mel Gibson raged at his church's congregation this weekend after hearing gossip about his personal life, insiders told Radar Online reports. The Lethal Weapon star recently announced he was expecting a child with his new Russian girlfriend shortly after leaving his wife of 27 years. "Mel's completely lost it. His holier than thou world is falling apart around him. He paced back and forth, angrily telling the churchgoers that he would not stand by and be judged and scrutinised," an insider claimed. "Mel got up on this stage - the altar - and went off. He tried to intimidate the parishioners by staring at everyone with his angry eyes. [He] even threatened to shut down the church if people kept gossiping about him. He created this mess, and now he's trying to control it."
