George Michael apologises for drugs

Former Wham! star George Michael has apologised after being arrested for possession of drugs.

George Michael has apologised for "screwing up again" after being cautioned for possessing drugs. The former Wham! star was arrested in a public toilet on Friday and taken to a police station and cautioned for possessing class A and class C drugs. "I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again," George said in a statement. "And to promise them I'll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them." Metropolitan Police confirmed the news saying, "A 45-year-old man was arrested on 19 September on suspicion of possession of drugs in the Hampstead Heath area." Sources tell the BBC the drugs in question were thought to be marijuana and crack cocaine.
