George Clooney has spoken out against sexual harassment charges made against his friend, Cindy Crawford's husband, Rande Gerber. Businessman Gerber has been accused of trying to "kiss and fondle" two former employees but George has told Us magazine his friend is innocent. "I was with Rande the entire night - as were a lot of people," he says of the night in question. "They will all say the same thing that I'm saying. This event never happened. Period." The lawsuit has been filed in San Diego County Superior Court by two waitresses who claim they lost their jobs at the Moonstone Lounge, a restaurant owned by Gerber's company, for refusing his advances. "Mr Gerber and Mr Clooney will take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr Gerber are false," a Gerber Group spokesperson told TMZ. "Mr Gerber will not settle this extortion case even for a single dollar and will take all actions necessary to clear his name, including filing a $10m lawsuit for malicious prosecution once these allegations are proven false."
