Gabourey Sidibe has been offered the support of the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) after the actress was offered a year's supply of diet pills in exchange for promoting a diet company, Digital Spy reports. Insiders say Sidibe was approached by the CEO of Acaisupply.com and offered a year of diet pills in exchange for an endorsement. "The only way you can reach your goal of someday winning that Oscar," he added, "is by being active, fit, and most of all, healthy."
A spokesman for NAAFA has rubbished his claims telling TMZ, "You cannot tell by looking at a person if they are healthy," before adding, "Fat does not equal disease and thin does not equal healthy. Achievements come in all sizes."
