After only ten days of being clean the singer is apparently back on a cocktail of drugs and self-harming. Hopes that Amy was on the road to recovery have been sunk by a pal's claims in The Sun that last week, while sat around a table with her friends, Amy held a lighter over her hand and let the flame scar her skin in a bid to "feel". She thinks rehab has made her like a zombie. The friend has told how she was screaming, "My life is a shell of what it was. People talk to me and I just zone out. It's like the whole world is stillborn. Colours aren't as bright, love doesn't feel real. I don't know who I am and I just feel numb."
Friends of the singer have also claimed that the 24-year old begged one of her pals to smuggle some drugs into rehab on the first night of her two-week stay. She apparently managed to stay off the drugs for 10 days in her attempt to gain a visa for the Grammys earlier this month. That failed and she has since then spiralled back down to the desperate level she was at before- mixing cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis ands alcohol in a bid to dull the pain of her husband Blake's jail stint and looming trial. Amy's pals, who fear for her sanity said, "It terrifies us."
