R’n B star Chris Brown’s friends have spoken out in his defence after he handed himself into police on Sunday after his alleged assault of girlfriend Rihanna landed her in hospital. "Chris is all right. He's a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this has happened," friend and stylist Mike B. told People magazine. “They're both blessed and we just got to send them our prayers.” Rihanna was reported to have been rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center by attending LA police officers after suffering two "huge contusions" on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip and nose. But Mike B insists his friend regrets the incident. "You can tell everybody that Chris really feels bad about the whole situation, about it coming out the way that it happened, the way he went about it, the way she went about it. It's just a wack situation.” Hollywood star Terence Howard has also commented on the story. “Chris is a great guy. He'll be all right,” the Iron Man star told Contactmusic. “Rihanna knows he loves her. Everybody just needs to get out of their way." However, the actor has now explained his comments. "When they (paparazzi) asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of," he explained in a statement. "Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive."
