FBI agents in America have raided a warehouse belonging to magician David Copperfield and seized a computer and digital camera memory chip. They are investigating claims of a serious sexual assault, brought by an unidentified woman. Earlier this week it was claimed the Feds had also taken $2million in the raid, but this was later denied by an agent, speaking in a US newspaper.
The alleged assault is said to have taken place in the Bahamas. A friend of the woman has told press that the magician invited her to a party on the islands only to find she was the only one there when she arrived.
Copperfield's attorney re-issued his earlier statement: "It is important these allegations be put into perspective. An unidentified woman has made serious allegations against David Copperfield. Although authorities have not revealed her identity to us, we know these allegations are false because David Copperfield has never forced himself on anyone." The investigation is ongoing.
