Eva Longoria Parker has insisted she was unaware former co-star Nicollette Sheridan had a problem with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Earlier this week, Sheridan filed legal papers against Cherry, accusing him of assault and wrongfully terminating her contract. “He’s [Cherry] funny and sweet and probably couldn’t harm a fly,” Longoria Parker said during an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. “He’s just so sweet. I do know they had a thing on set. I guess it was a couple of years ago. Nicollette’s a sweet girl, too. I’m really confused about this whole thing. It’s a big lawsuit, it’s a big deal, I love the show so much that I would hate for anything to really tarnish the reputation of the show. I really would like all of it to go away.“I haven’t talked to her [Sheridan] since she left the show,” Eva added. “We used to be really friendly when she was here, but she was kind of on vacation for a while, so I haven’t seen her around in Los Angeles. I would love to see her to find out if everything is OK.”
