The singer and actress, who is rumoured to be expecting a child with Latin singer Anthony, added that she and her husband would perform English and Spanish songs in concerts this year.
Speaking to the magazine, she said: "This is my first tour. I'm excited because it's my sixth album. I'm going to do all my English songs, and some Spanish."
Lopez added that details about whether she or her husband would open the show had not been finalised, but reassured fans that they would perform together.
The couple, who recently acted together in the Spanish film El Cantante, added that they were happy to be back in New York.
Speaking about how it felt to return to the Bronx, where she grew up, Lopez said: "This is my core, and everything I've been able to accomplish, through all the highs and lows, I got through it because of where I came from.
"And to come back here and feel all the love is so overwhelming and emotional and beautiful and I really feel blessed," she added.
I Need To Know star Anthony said that he was overwhelmed by the children's reaction to their visit, saying that it was a better feeling than receiving awards for his music.
