Harry Potter star Emma Watson has reportedly been cast to star in Marilyn Manson’s gothic musical film adaption of Cinderella. The 19-year-old, who hasn’t appeared in a movie outside of Harry Potter, will be singing her way through the retelling of the fairy tale as Cinderella. Manson will be producing the dark fairytale, but there is no word yet on whether he will be scoring or directing the musical. According to the Sun, the Harry Potter star is to play the princess, whose fairy godmother sends her to the ball, in a gothic retelling of the classic children’s story.
