Rest and recuperation is normally the order of the day when an artist takes a break from the spotlight but not for Eminem. Gossip website TMZ is reporting that the rapper was rushed to the hospital in the Detroit-area recently for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia. The heart condition hasn’t been confirmed (TMZ also alleges that Em’s weight has ballooned to 16 stone) but Eminem 's publicist said, "Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctors’ care at a Detroit hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."
