Although they've been in the news recently for the ongoing Iggy the dog story, insiders at Star Magazine claim the real reason for Ellen's public tears is that she's splitting up with girlfriend, Ally McBeal star Portia De Rossi.
"Portia has been telling Ellen she's very unhappy at home. When it comes down to it, she wants to be with someone younger and hotter," their source claimed. "She wants out, but Ellen has been begging her to stay. Portia is really everything in this world to her." Poor Ellen, she really is having a ruff week.
