Eddie Murphy is said to have told his lawyers he has no interest in meeting his ninth baby, by the fifth different mother and is refusing to pay maintenance. The Shrek star refusal to offer a maintenance figure to the baby Angel Iris’ mother Mel B has meant the proposed case has had to have been delayed for three months. A source close to the Spice Girls claims Mel is spitting chips. "Mel was furious. She had been planning to take Angel to meet her dad for the first time. But when she heard Eddie would only be sending his lawyers she decided to do the same. She expected at least some kind of an offer."
