When it was reported that Apprentice star Donald Trump had given a waiter at California’s Buffalo club a $10,000 tip on an $82.27 bill people assumed that the notoriously shrewd and tough business man was not only being generous but also drumming up some publicity for the new celebrity version of his show. Though there was even a receipt to back up the story but Donald’s not having any of it. It’s all a hoax, “This was done by the stupid restaurant to get publicity," he said. "It's not my signature. I wasn’t even in California.” Shame, we liked him better when we thought he’d left the tip.
