Steven Klein has revealed Lady Gaga's love of "epics" inspired the pair's almost nine minute music video for her new single, Alejandro. "She likes epics. It fits her personality," Klein told Rolling Stone. "We combined dance, narrative and attributes of surrealism. The process was to express Lady Gaga's desire to reveal her heart and bear her soul. On a music video there is never enough time. We had planned so much and achieved much of that, but of course some of it we were not able due to time constraints. The politics came out of the story, but was not the official intention."
In other news, despite a punishing workload Gaga has insisted she doesn't feel tired. "I'm really not that tired. Of course, I get tired, it's my passion for my fans," Showbiz Spy quote Gaga saying. "It's their messages, they send me these beautiful videos. I must have thousands of beautifully laminated books with stickers, photos, sketches, poetry, they call me Mother Monster now."
