The Dark Knight star Christian Bale has had his reputation defended by the director of his new film. McG, at the helm of Bale’s new flick Terminator Salvation, decided to speak out after reports from the set said that Christian had flown into a rage after the film’s director of cinematography messed up a shot. “He's the most professional, passionate actor you're ever going to find,” the director told fans at this year’s Comic-Con festival in San Diego. “I mean it's just that simple, Bale is just all about the work. He loves his wife, he loves his child, he loves being an actor. I can't go, 'OK, Christian, you go out camera left. Christian's going to talk to me, you know - 'What went into the decision to go off camera left?' - which is wonderful. It's the elegant opposition you want. And just for the record. he's a big-hearted, good guy - and I've worked with a lot of people - and that's just simply who he is."
