Olivier Theyskens, a designer for Nina Ricci, has been caught lying to Sarah Jessica Parker about the dress she wore to Sex And The City's New York premiere. When asked by the star if anyone had ever wore the dress before and been photographed in it, Theyskens assured Parker and her stylist no on both accounts. But it's been now been shown that paparazzi photographed Lindsay Lohan wearing the same dress months ago at a commercial shoot and socialite Lauren Santo Domingo even accompanied Olivier to the Met's Costume Institute Gala in the dress in May. “In the big picture, this is not important, but there is a relationship between the entertainment industry and fashion," Sarah told the New York Post. "We’ve watched sales dwindle and we’ve watched people be less inclined to spend money on clothes. Look, my affection for the dress hasn’t changed but what they did was so short sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again. I just wish it had been handled differently and they had been straight about it.”
