David Beckham has confessed Hollywood star Brad Pitt was the inspiration for his recent beard. Beckham’s new look drew widespread criticism when he played for England recently, with David even admitting, “Everyone keeps telling me to shave it off.” But now Becks has revealed it was his admiration of Brad Pitt’s look that led to him giving facial hair a try. “I am finally shaved now,” Showbiz Spy quote Beckham as saying. “I’ve got a little bit of stubble but I’m not like I was a few weeks ago. I saw Brad Pitt and I thought he looked really good – he was one of my inspirations. Then I started growing it and everyone around me was saying ‘Shave it, shave it, it looks terrible’ but I am a really stubborn person so I just thought, ‘Nah, I’m going to keep it.’ Until people started to turn round and say I looked really good - then I decided to shave it again.”
While David’s been experimenting with his facial hair, Victoria is said to have signed up for a role on Gossip Girl and started a tough new diet.
