Dannii Minogue has confirmed she will be at home in Australia during the opening rounds of this year's X Factor. Dannii and fiancé Kris Smith are expecting their first child in July and the judge has revealed she will be at home in Australia while the opening rounds of X Factor auditions are being filmed. "If they're auditioning in the hospital in Australia, yes [I will be there], but otherwise no," Dannii told Digital Spy. "I will totally miss Cheryl and Louis and Simon, and not being there for the auditions, but I really need to be near my family in Australia at such an important time. I don't know what is happening with X Factor. I just adore it and I had such a fun time last year. I'd love to be part of it somehow even if I just pop back and visit."
However, a spokesman for the singer was quick to add that Dannii had no plans to leave the show for good. "Dannii has absolutely not quit The X Factor," the explained. "Although she is having her baby at home in Australia, she would very much like to still be a part of the show in some capacity when it returns later this year."
