Dannii Minogue has beaten rival X Factor judge Cheryl Cole to win the title of Ultimate TV Personality Of The Year. Dannii’s win was announced at Cosmopolitan’s Women of the Year awards held last night in London.
Minogue credited her boyfriend Kris Smith, for helping her through a tough year, and admitted she has never been so happy. “When you’re having a good time both at work and in your love life, I guess it shows on your face.” Dannii said, before adding, “I’m amazed at my own good fortune, and so grateful for it. I feel euphoric.”
Other winner’s on the night included Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, who was crowned the Ultimate Woman’s Woman; GMTV host Holly Willoughby, who was named Ultimate TV Presenter; the Ultimate TV Actress honours went to Eastenders star Lacey Turner, while ex-Eastenders actress Brooke Kinsella was named the Ultimate Celeb Who Made Us Care for her campaign against knife crime following the tragic death of her brother Ben.
