Actress Cynthia Nixon has criticised those who reported she’d recently undergone a boob when she was in fact having a regular breast cancer check up. The Sex and And the The City star, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, was pictured entering a New York hospital earlier this month. The New York Post reported she had been having a boob job. “I was at St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital for my three-monthly check-up. I was in the Oncology department. I guess they think that means plastic surgery,” Cynthia told rival paper New York Daily News. “We got a call from the [New York] Post (the paper that ran the story) asking if I'd had a breast augmentation, and my publicist laughed at them and said, 'No, of course not.' But they printed it anyway. If I was going to get a boob job, wouldn't it make sense that I'd get it before Sex and And the The City (the movie)?”
