Corey Haim, 38, has been found dead in his mother’s Oakwood, Los Angeles apartment, police have confirmed. A Los Angeles Police Department source told TMZ, the former Lost Boys star had been unwell with “flu-like” symptoms for the last two weeks but collapsed late last night in front of his mother, who called emergency services. The actor – by now “unresponsive” - was then rushed to the nearby St. Joseph's hospital and eventually pronounced dead around 2.15am. Police confirmed they believe the cause of death was an apparent accidental overdose. Four bottles of prescription drugs are believed to have been found in the apartment, but no illegal drugs. The actor, who has struggled with drug addiction, had reportedly been in and out of rehab 15 times, but cleaned up in 2004 after moving to Toronto.
