The Los Angeles Superior Court has granted Chris Brown’s legal team a delay in the case against him, TMZ report. The singer was charged with assault and making criminal threats after his alleged attack on on/off girlfriend Rihanna in February. However, his legal team admitted they had tried to get the case thrown out of court, claiming a photo taken by police shortly after the attack and believed to show damage inflicted to Rihanna’s face made a fair trial impossible. "Leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regard to outrageous governmental misconduct." Mark Geragos – who has previously represented Michael Jackson and Winona Ryder – told press.
