Cheryl Cole has been offered £5million to write a series of ‘chick lit' novels a source has told The People. Publishers are said to be keen on cashing in on Cheryl's current high profile. "At the moment Cheryl can do no wrong. Whatever she touches turns to gold," an insider claimed. "She was a singing star in Girls Aloud, but after her instant success as a judge on X Factor she's reached another level. Girl fans love her and they will all want to read her books. She's been offered a deal for four of five romantic novels which could be worth up to £5 million. She hadn't previously thought of writing, but she's come around to the idea."
