Cheryl Cole has asked for no money from estranged husband Ashley Cole in the divorce action she launched late yesterday, the Sun reports. The singer reportedly wants a "clean break" so she can get on with her life and he can concentrate on England's World Cup campaign. The divorce is expected be finalised before England's first match in South Africa on 12 June.
It was believed that Cheryl would ask for the couple's £6m mansion as part of the divorce deal, but she has said that Ashley can keep it.
The divorce papers filed by Cheryl's lawyers cite "unreasonable behaviour" as the reason for the split and claim Cheryl questioned Ashley about text messages on his phone. The documents say Cheryl "put it to him that he had been unfaithful" and that Ashley "admitted" it. An insider told The Sun, "This divorce will be clean, swift, amicable and smooth. Cheryl has no spite towards Ashley and has been incredibly mature and considered in how she has handled the split."
