MTV this week that she doesn’t know how long her career in music will last. Despite topping the charts with her most recent album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, the singer refused to confirm plans for a third album. “I couldn’t tell you if I’m going to make another record, because I don’t know if I’m going to enjoy this in six months time,” Allen explained. “I’m a ‘live by the day’ person. I have no idea what I’m doing tomorrow. I certainly don’t think about a week from now or a month from now.” Puurrllleeeasse! How does she organise her tours, then?

The ex-Mrs Pitt spoke about her divorce from Brad in 2005 (four years ago) in an interview with Elle magazine. “No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over,” Jen said. But Jen, that’s exactly what you’re doing! The Friends actress continued, “I don’t owe anybody anything. I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! Jade Goody and Jack Tweed’s fairytale wedding a fortnight ago, it seems such a shame that this bad news has tainted it all. Jack Tweed was convicted of attacking Essex taxi driver Stephen Wilkins in May last year. Jack denied the offence but is due to be sentenced on 26 March to give court time to prepare reports on his background. This news came at the worst time, as hospital insiders said that Jade Goody’s cancer has now spread to her brain. “Jade was told while in a hospice at the weekend that the cancer was travelling freely in her blood and had spread to her brain,” the source told The Sun. “This is of course, awful but not unexpected. She has already been told the disease is terminal. But by understanding how it is travelling in her body, the doctors have a chance of giving the right medication to control the pain. This hasn’t shortened her life expectancy, which remains at weeks. But of course it is another extremely painful reminder of what lies ahead.”

Sharon Osbourne is being sued for her part in an altercation on VH1’s Rock Of Love – Charm School TV show. The ex-X Factor judge appeared as a host on the reality show that aims to teach rock chicks manners and etiquette. Ironic that Sharon got involved in a brawl on it then? The incident at the centre of the lawsuit was broadcast in the US in January and shows Osbourne exchanging words with, and throwing a drink over, contestant Megan Hauserman before security guards rush on to the set.

Hauserman has now filed papers in Los Angeles claiming Sharon hit her, pulled her hair and scratched her and is seeking a jury trial and punitive damages. “It’s pretty hard to deny what happened on the video,” Hauserman’s lawyer Warren J Binder told the Associated Press. “We look forward to our day in court.” The model and reality TV star is also claiming past, present and future medical expenses, loss of earning capacity and business opportunities.

Madonna, and current beau Jesus Luz, were attending her trainer Tracy Anderson’s birthday party at The Ritz when the DJ played a Britney track. “She flipped out, stormed upstairs, and spent the rest of the night aggressively making out with Jesus,” a source claims. “The pair later slipped out the back door and into an idling SUV.”

Rihanna, should “have a little remorse”. Nineteen-year-old Chris was pictured jet skiing in in Miami over the weekend and during a video for Jermaine Dupri’s living series, Usher says he is “a little disappointed” after seeing the pics. “Have a little remorse, man,” he is overheard saying. But Usher has issued a statement to clarify his remarks. “The comments made during a recent recording session among friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion,” he explains. “I apologise on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgement and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.” There’s nothing we hate more than a backtracker, and we just hope Usher wasn’t backtracking to keep in favour of Chris Brown fans, a lot of who have been sticking up for the star. Rihanna and Brown have reportedly recently reunited after the incident.

The hotel heiress ordered a £200,000 diamond-encrusted dashboard for her new pink Bentley and has arranged to have the custom built piece flown from the car company’s Crewe headquarters to her Los Angeles home, sources have told The Sun. “I guess she’s not hit too badly by the recession. When the man said she wanted to stud the dashboard with a couple of hundred grand’s worth of diamonds we were stunned,” an employee revealed. “We’re used to dealing with the stars so we expect the odd extravagance, but this is something else.” Paris bought the pink car as a Christmas present for herself last year because she’d been “a fan of Barbie for so long”.
