This week Guy Ritchie announced that he will not be fighting with ex-wife Madonna over plans to move their children to New York (and who can blame him?). A source said that Guy was “happy” with the court’s decision to approve the kids move to live with their mum in the states. The source told the Mirror, “He is adamant he wants to keep the boys and their sister Lourdes together. He does not want to tear them apart from each other.” In the media battle, we think that’s one-nil to Guy, as he makes Madonna out to be the harsh b*tch who took his kids away, and he’s only worried about their happiness.

The X Factor judge has spoken out about rumours surrounding his sexuality but told the Daily Star he feels it’s not an issue. “I am not gay. But in this business, if you were it wouldn’t matter.” Simon’s also been cementing his heterosexuality this week when he told an interviewer for The Guardian that if he could kiss anyone in the world, he would kiss Cheryl Cole. “I’m going to get into so much trouble after this.” The TV mogul joked. “I want a disclaimer first of all that I’m going to say this person as if they weren’t married… so I am going to say Cheryl Cole.” He hastily added, “Who wouldn’t? This is just pretend, right?” We’re sure that there are men all over the UK nodding their heads in agreement right now.

Jade Goody confirmed this week that her cervical cancer has spread to her bowel, liver and groin. The former Big Brother star and mother of two has been receiving chemotherapy treatment since being diagnosed in August 2008, she received news of the illness while in the diary room for Big Boss, India’s version of the reality TV show. “I am devastated, frightened and angry. I don’t want to die, I have so much to live for,” Jade told the Sun. “The reality is I have gone from a 40% chance of a cure to a seeing how long I can stay alive. I am hoping a new type of treatment will suppress and control the cancer, which is very aggressive.
