Simon Cowell admitted that he plans to be cryogenically frozen so he can return to life in the future, claims the Daily Mail. “I have decided to freeze myself when I die. You know, cryonics. You pay a lot of money and you get stuck in a deep freeze once you’ve been declared dead,” sources claim Simon told guests at a private dinner hosted by Gordon Brown. “Medical science is bound to work out a way of bringing us back to life in the next century or so, and I want to be available when they do. I would be doing the nation an invaluable service.” Uhhhh, Simon Cowell around forever? Let’s hope someone has the sense to stop his evil plan.

The Indian government announced that it is going to move Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail, stars of Slumdog Millionaire from slums and into new houses. “Since the children have made the nation proud, they must be given free houses,” Local housing association chairman Amarjeet Singh Manhas told the BBC. “They have brought laurels to the country.” The pair play young versions of the film’s stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto and have been subject to numerous press stories about how much they’d been paid to appear in the film. “We barely got any money from the film makers. In fact, whatever came, has already been spent,” Ali’s father Mohamed told The Times of India. Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle has strongly denied that the two children were exploited and said the two children were paid above local wages for 30 days of work on the film and funds had been set up to pay for their education. The film makers had also promised housing for the two families before authorities stepped in.
