Is anyone else beginning to wonder why Cheryl Cole is judging The X Factor? Don’t get me wrong, she’s probably one of our favourite celebrities because she’s come a long way since her Popstars: The Rivals days (which may give her some kudos as an X Factor judge), but recent reports suggest that Cheryl Cole would like to become an actress after becoming racked with nerves about the release of her debut solo album. Surely to be a judge on a singing contest, you have to have some faith in your own abilities as an artist? Sources told Now magazine, “Although she’s worked with some of the biggest producers in pop, Cheryl feels lost without the rest of Girls Aloud. She isn’t considered the strongest singer in the band and she’s in a blind panic about performing on The X Factor to coincide with the launch of her solo album.” Ummm – how is she meant to mentor her contestants to sing live on national television if she’s too scared to get up and sing herself? So, instead Cheryl has reportedly decided to concentrate on becoming an actress. “That’s what a lot of her discussions in LA recently have been about,” the insider continues, “She’s told her agent that’s the direction she wants to head in over the next few years.”

Katie took to Twitter to deny rumours that she is pregnant and about to marry her new boyfriend Alex Reid. “No no no its sooo not true looks like ill have to pee on the preggie stick to prove this not engaged or getting married (sic),” Katie, who is a published author, wrote in reply to a question posed by gossip blogger Perez Hilton, adding, “I love my haters for taking time to write thank you sooo much deep down you obviously care to take time out.” We think if we’d had all of the negative press that Katie has had in the last couple of months we would have crawled into a hole by now. They’re thinking of enrolling her into a performing arts school.” The insider added that Brad and Angelina believe Shiloh has a “creative mind” after she dreamt up an imaginary friend named Amy.
