I’m really looking forward to a week where I don’t have to write about Katie Price. Do I ever think that week will come? I’m not so sure. This week Katie was accused of threatening to run over a fan when she got out of her car to ask for an autograph. She also reportedly told friends that Peter Andre is holding up their divorce to help relaunch his career and that her life with him was a lie.  “I’ve told my lawyers that. I want to bring him down. I’ve lived a lie with him for so long,” Katie is said to have told a friend.

Sexiest Man Alive Robert Pattinson never seems to stop moaning about his fame and fortune courtesy of Twilight… and Twitter. “I can’t remember what my normal life is like,” Pattinson told a Scottish newspaper. “Because of internet stuff and Twitter, there will be a crowd if you are in a place for more than half an hour. I’ve learned never to stay in the same place for more than 20 minutes. The biggest challenge is coping with the crowds.” We get that R-Patz is having a tough time, but it does seem like whenever he opens his mouth it’s to moan about how awful his life is after his success, or if he isn’t moaning (10 per cent of the time) he’ll be telling us that he’s single. This week he told the Mirror, “You always think you’re going to get more girls after you’ve made a movie and it never happens. You sit there and you’re like ‘I’m a big movie star and I want to go out with some models’ but I don’t know why that doesn’t happen.” We’re pretty sure there’s a line of girls waiting to date Rob, maybe he’s just picky? Or maybe it has something more to do with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart?

Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband declared to the Sun that he is still in love with her and wants to marry her. “I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we’re getting divorced. Maybe this time we can do everything properly and not mess it up,” Blake explained. Fielder-Civil then went on to explain how their relationship was built on sex. “My relationship with Amy was beautiful and intense – and very physical. It was built on sex from day one and was always mind-blowing. Amy was very loving and passionate and the best I’ve ever had.” Urrrgggh, we don’t want to know thanks, Blake!

George Michael \"sober\" in latest crash

George – who has just completed a two-year ban after being found slumped at the wheel of his car in October 2006 and being declared unfit to drive – was held by police after the incident last Friday. He released an official statement claiming that he wasn’t drinking before the incident. “Neither of us were charged because we were both stone cold sober,” George explained. “We both think the other is to blame so this is just an insurance fight.”

She’s just a step above professional, too snobby,” said one insider. “Gwyneth is not friendly to anyone, and tends to make people feel awkward and uncomfortable. She wasn’t outright rude to Scarlett (co-star Scarlett Johansson), she just didn’t ever speak to her.”

The superstar will finally be buried in Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn Cemetery at 10am on 29 August – what would have been Michael’s 51st birthday, the singer’s father Joe Jackson has confirmed. Joe apparently revealed the details during a conversation in Las Vegas with New York Daily News’ Steve Freiss. It was reported last week that Jackson had been buried in an unmarked plot at the ceremony shortly after his memorial service. However; over the weekend TMZ claimed the singer was actually in a deep freeze awaiting for burial. RIP Michael Jackson.

Friends fear for Kerry Katona

This week, it was announced that Kerry had lost her deal following the release of a video by the News Of The World, which appears to show her snorting cocaine at home. “For most of [the past four years], she has been a successful part of our advertising campaigns, but has also been through some tough times in her personal life,” Iceland said in a statement. “We have always stood by her, as an example of a normal person and mum who has experienced some of the modern day culture of fame, and how difficult it can be to deal with. However, following the more recent allegations we feel it is impossible for Kerry to continue to work with us as one of the faces of Iceland advertising.” Friends have now told the Mirror that they’re worried Kerry is facing financial ruin. “This was really her only big pay packet. She is already bankrupt and this is the worst thing that could have happened to her,” an insider said. “You have to ask how Kerry will ever get a big deal like this again.”  The bad news continues for Kerry as sources told the London Lite that her ex-husband Brian McFadden, is to launch a legal bid to win custody of his two daughters, Molly, 7 and Lilly-Sue, 6, from Katona’s care. “He is talking to his fiancée Delta Goodrem and is also consulting his lawyers to see what arrangements the can come to about his kids,” the source claims, “He no longer wants them to stay with Kerry. He no longer feels that they are safe with her.” Ouch.
