Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan has claimed that dance act Diversity were “lucky” to win Britain’s Got Talent. “I think Flawless were unlucky to have gone on first. If they had gone on last it may have been different,” Morgan claimed. “They’re both amazing dance groups. Diversity were just very lucky.” We’re sure Diversity is thrilled to hear the judge’s opinion, but we think the right men won.

David Carradine
Actor David Carradine was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room this week. Thai police told the BBC that the Kill Bill star was found by a hotel maid, at the five-star Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel, naked in a wardrobe with a curtain cord wrapped around his neck and body. His manager Chuck Binder explained that the 72-year-old had been in Thailand working on Stretch, his latest film, saying, “He was full of life, always wanting work, a great person.” A US embassy official confirmed the actor’s death, but added that the cause had not yet been established, though Thai paper The Nation claims he took his own life.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Sources have told the Daily Mirror that super-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will end speculation about the state of their relationship by getting married. Last week, Angelina’s manager insisted claims the couple were to announce “an official split” were “not true” and now sources say the couple are looking for ways to end the rumours once and for all. “Usually it’s Brad who wants to talk marriage,” an insider claims. “But this time it was Angie. An aide sent them all the press clippings about their ‘relationship problems’ and Angelina said it was probably best if they married to put an end to the stories. Brad’s face lit up, he was thrilled.” Stay tuned for the latest Jolie-Pitt wedding news.

Jennifer Aniston
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston allegedly had a secret meeting at New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel recently. Jennifer’s driver claims that he drove the star to meet her ex-husband and says the former couple went to great lengths not to be caught together. “It was well planned so no one would see them,” the driver said. He also revealed that the pair spent more than two hours together in the back of the hotel’s deserted 18th floor Private Roof Club, saying, “They were really careful not to be spotted.”

Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle has said she’s fit and raring to continue her music career after her recent stay in the Priory. The Britain’s Got Talent star was checked into the clinic last week after suffering from exhaustion following the live final, but said that she’s ready to start work again. “I feel bloody fantastic. I want to take on the world. I’ve got my sleeves up and ready,” Susan told the News Of The World. Now that’s fighting talk! The Scots singer is currently in rehearsals for the Britain’s Got Talent 23-date tour but, following her stay in the Priory, won’t confirm how many shows she will do.

Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford
It’s not just Katie Price and Peter Andre that have split up. Margaret Mountford has decided to leave The Apprentice, and has reportedly left Nick Hewer heartbroken. Mountford revealed that she was leaving the show, after working for five years as Sir Alan’s assistant, to complete her PHD in papyrology [the study of ancient Greek correspondence on papyrus]. “Everybody is absolutely heartbroken about Margaret’s decision to leave,” Nick told the Mirror. “And no one more so than I. She’s been a great support and great fun. The Nick ’n’ Margaret dynamic – the Fruit ’n’ Nut as I call it – has been very successful.” Ahhh. We’re sad too Nick, it’s the end of an era.

Gordon Ramsay
Foul-mouthed super chef Gordon Ramsay has apologised for insulting a TV host, after drawing criticism from Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Ramsay allegedly called A Current Affair host Tracey Grimshaw “a lesbian” – a claim he denies – and an “ugly old pig” at the Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show. Grimshaw was quick to defend herself. “I’m not going to sit meekly and let some arrogant narcissist bully me,” she explained on her show. “Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman that doesn’t find him attractive must be gay. For the record, I don’t and I’m not.” The Australian Prime Minister then gave his two cents. “All I could describe his remarks as reflecting is a new form of low life,” he said. “I just think that’s off and offensive. Good on Tracy Grimshaw for coming out and giving him an upper left cut.” But Ramsay denied calling Tracy a lesbian. “It’s blown out of context,” he said adding, “I never once used the word lesbian.”
