It’s been reported that Jive records finally called Britney’s bluff when she failed to pitch up to her recent video shoot. Rather than waste the $500,000 they’d outlaid on crew, location, etc they decided to offer the shoot to their new young artist Samantha Jade. A source said, "They were going to recalibrate it for Samantha, because it was too expensive to just scrap. Britney finally showed up when she realized a new, younger, hotter girl would take her slot." Funny that. Elsewhere in Britneyland its claimed the singer borrowed friend-again Paris Hilton’s phone to beg ex K-Fed to come to her birthday party last weekend - you know the one where she was accused of nicking nearly 14 grand’s worth of coats - A source said, “She begged him to come out with her. Kevin reminded her that one of them needed to be a parent and take care of the boys. Then she hung up on him. Kevin said she was drinking."
