Britney Spears' legal eagles Trope and Trope have changed their minds and decided to continue litigating her custody battle with Kevin Federline. On January 2 they filed a request to be excused from the case on Jan. 2, “There has been a breakdown in communications between making further representation of her interests impossible." A court hearing to settle the problem was even set for February 4. But court spokeswoman Meredith Pierce confirmed the firm had withdrawn their request. Anne Kiley, one of Britney’s lawyers confirmed when asked if they were staying on, "Yes, we are," but gave no further details.
