Britney Spears former manager has said he is back in contact with singer. Osama Sam Lutfi managed the singers career during her public meltdown in 2008 and was widely blamed for her problems. However, Lutfi who Britney took out a restraining order against when her father was placed in control of her affairs - has claimed Spears is back in regular contact with him, albeit on the downlow.
"Britney reached out to me a few weeks ago. She makes contact with me quite frequently. She pleads with me to help her and end the control her dad has over her life, Lutfi told Heat magazine. "She keeps asking me, 'When is this going to end?' If she's out in public, she will use somebody's phone - sometimes the bodyguard's - to call me. She will go to the bathroom and lock herself in and make a call. She is miserable right now. This is an ongoing crazy drama. She is not insane. She is lost. You have to understand, her parents have been in control of her life since she was a teenager. All she wants to do is free herself, to get away from [manager] Larry [Rudolph], her mum and her dad."
A source close to Britney has denied she and Lutfi are back in touch. "It's amazing that this guy has crawled out from under his rock again, they explained. He is a huge nightmare for Britney."
