Troubled Britney Spears was involved in a minor road accident in Los Angeles this weekend. Police confirmed the accident on the city's Ventura Freeway but though officers were called to scene a spokesman said no charges will be a brought. 26-year-old Britney was driving her Mercedes through slow-moving traffic when she struck a Nissan which had stopped in front of her, the Nissan then bumped into another vehicle, police said. The accident marks an unsucessful return to driving for the former teen star who, following her recent problems, was only allowed back behind the wheel again last month!
