It might be a bit of a career change for gorgeous George, but Brad is attempting to persuade him to run for political office, along with fellow actor Ben Affleck.
It seems that Arnold Schwarzenegger being able to pull off being governor of California has given other actors political aspirations, but Brad rules out a life in government himself.
He told Parade magazine: 'I never thought about it. I have no desire at this point. Maybe I serve better by not going through that door.
'George should do it! He'd be quite good. I think Ben Affleck should run.'
Meanwhile there is speculation that Brad's partner Angelina Jolie is not particularly fond of his close friend George and was noticeably absent when Brad went down the red carpet at the premiere of George's latest movie, Michael Clayton.
