Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's own charity, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, has announced it is to donate £500,000 to give
American and Iraqi children suffering from the war much-needed support. "These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal," Angelina Jolie said. The couple have agreed to give half the money to the Armed Service YMCA Operation Hero Program to help educate and emotionally support children of military personnel serving in Iraq. The other half will go to groups dealing with Iraqi women and children struggling to learn and survive in the war torn country. "We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations," said Brad Pitt.
