When the news broke a couple of weeks ago that Boy George had been arrested for falsely imprisoning a male escort by chaining him to a wall in his flat it sounded like a bad, sick joke before it turned out to be true. Boy George, real name George O'Dowd, was in Thames Magistrates' Court yesterday and told he'd face trial in February next year. The normally chatty ex Culture Club man spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth and to give the judge a couple of choruses of Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?
