Cate Blanchett has revealed that she had to strap her breasts down for her latest movie role as the legendary folk singer Bob Dylan.
The Oscar-winning actress is taking on perhaps her most challenging role in the new biopic I'm Not There.
Cate's versatility has made her one of the best-respected actresses in Hollywood. No stranger to impersonating famous people, she won an Academy award for her convincing performance as actress Katherine Hepburn in 2004's the Aviator.
In her latest role playing Bob Dylan during his folk-rock years the 38-year-old star is proving equally compelling – although she admits having made some crucial alterations to her body.
Cate said: 'I had to strap those breasts down, and just go for it!'
Despite her stellar status, the film's director Todd Haynes revealed that Cate was terrified of playing the music icon.
'Cate was scared,' he said.
'She told me many times this was a very scary challenge for her.'
